There’s a brand new restaurant in town and you’re not going to want to miss it.
Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, Old Thorns hosts its very own authentic Chinese Restaurant experience.
Taking the place of the Private Dining Room, the restaurant is contemporary in design, with a nod to traditional Chinese decoration, and ensures a dining experience like no other.
With a gorgeous large ceiling window, exposed inner brick and wooden flooring, this creates an airy, warm and welcoming ambiance, which has delighted guests so far.
Lily Barton, one of the restaurant’s first diners said:
“The food was delicious, it was presented in a really beautiful way and the room itself is an amazing space. It was an all-round awesome experience and we’ve already booked up to go again next month.”
Each evening will feature an imaginative menu that changes weekly, and will have options ranging from popular dishes to authentic traditions.
Dishes on the specially-curated Chinese menu include: steamed seabass, oyster sauce with Chinese vegetables, pineapple chicken, sweet and sour pork with ice cream and toffee strawberries for dessert.
Chef Wang, who has over 30 years’ experience cooking Chinese cuisine, has commented on the success of the restaurant so far:
“We’re thrilled that we’ve had so many positive reviews already.
“We aim to not just serve authentic Chinese food but do so in a way that is beautiful and unique, giving diners a feast for the eyes as well as their mouths.”
Guests can enjoy Old Thorns’ Chinese offering for just £25.00 per person, which includes a 4-course set menu.
If you are on an overnight golf or spa package, you can upgrade to include dinner at the restaurant for as little as £10.00 per person, if booked in advance.
Old Thorns members can take advantage of a 20% discount for a limited time only.
So for a change of style, savour the calm, oriental surroundings of this unique Chinese Restaurant experience.
