When did you get married?
2nd September 2023
What room did you get married in?
Hindu ceremony and canapés in the Gatsby Ballroom and reception in the Grand Ballroom.
Why did you choose Old Thorns for your wedding?
We chose Old Thorns because it was one of the very few venues which had multiple rooms that both had so much character. We loved the sunken dancefloor in the Grand Ballroom. Having on-site accommodation made it so much easier for our guests who made a weekend out of it.
What was the style/vibe of your wedding?
The vibe we were going for for our wedding was fun and relaxed and this is exactly what it was, all thanks to the amazing staff at Old Thorns Hotel. From start to finish, of planning our wedding aswell as the main day, staff exceeded our expectations and were beyond amazing.
What was your favourite moment of the day?
Favourite moment of the day was the evening reception.
What did you love about your wedding day?
We loved that all our guests really enjoyed the day celebrating and it was a bonus that the sun was shining and our photographer captured such beautiful photos around the venue.
Any tips for future couples?
Enjoy every second of your special day as it goes super fast!
