We asked Kirsty & Adam to answer some questions for our Real Weddings Q&A, and here's what they had to say:
When did you get married?
28th April 2024
What room did you get married in?
We got married in the Chapel, had our Drinks Reception in The Atrium Bar and our Wedding Breakfast and Reception in The Gatsby Ballroom.
Why did you choose Old Thorns for your wedding?
We chose Old Thorns as it had everything we needed in one venue! Accommodation, rooms big enough for the whole day of the wedding, great food and a beautiful area too!
What was the style/vibe of your wedding?
We went for a subtle Disney themed wedding, but we had the Gatsby style included within our cake and magic mirror backdrop too!
What was your favourite moment of the day?
There are too many favourite moments from the day! If we had to choose one it would be our drinks reception in the Atrium Bar as we were all together in a beautiful room and we could catch up with everyone!
What did you love about your wedding day?
We loved the day, the staff made the day incredible and everyone was so attentive. It was amazing to have everyone in one venue all together and everyone having a great time!
Any tips for future couples?
If you can take moments away from the crowds and have some moments together you won’t regret! That and enjoying the food!
