Black Tie Ball Details

Begin your evening with a glass of bubbly & canapés before sitting down to a four-course banqueting dinner. There will be fabulous live entertainment, late-night disco and fireworks to see the New Year in, so you are set to have a fantastic night.

Use of Facilities

Enjoy complimentary use of our gym and pool. Please note that our gym and wellness suite cannot be used by under 16s. Children’s swim times are in place.

Pre-booking is not required for pool and wellness suite use. Hotel guests have access to the pool from check-in on the day of arrival until check-out on the day of departure.

The use of these facilities is on a first come, first served basis. Our team have put measures in place for the use of facilities to be as fair as possible. However, there is no guarantee of availability, and no financial reimbursement will be available for these facilities being unavailable or fully booked.

The team at Old Thorns value and encourage a welcoming and positive environment for all. In the unlikely event that abusive or threatening behaviour occurs, we reserve the right to take appropriate action.

Check-in Information

Your room will be ready from 3pm so please visit reception after this time to collect your room key.

Departure Information

Your room will need to be vacated by 11am. Your room card should be returned to reception on check-out. Should you wish to store anything after checking out, please inform our reception team.

This is non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation.

We request to be made aware of any dietary requirements no later than when the full payment is due. Any requests for special diets made after this date are not guaranteed to be met.
You will be allocated a Superior bedroom, but room upgrades are available at an additional charge, subject to availability.
Drinks are not included in the package price – excluding welcome drink – and will be an additional charge.
Although we try to keep groups together there may be another group seated at the same table.
Dress code is strict black tie.
