In the run up to one of our tribute nights we often get asked lots of questions relating to the shows and ticket sales. As a result, we’ve put together this handy guide to make the process as easy as possible so you can have a stress-free experience at Old Thorns.

How much does it cost to attend a tribute night at Old Thorns?
Usually, it is £39.95 per person for a ticket only or £115.00 per person (based on 2 people sharing a room) for an overnight package. These prices may vary depending on the act.

What is included in the ticket price?
For the set price, you receive a 3-course meal, a ticket to watch the act and a late night disco. If you book an overnight package, you also get bed and breakfast and full use of the health club facilities.

What are the payment terms?
Old Thorns can provisionally hold ticket for 7 days whilst you collect the deposits from your group. We require a £10.00 per person deposit for ticket only, and £35.00 per person deposit for overnight packages. The final balance for ticket only is due 4 weeks prior to the event and the final balance for overnight packages are required at check-in. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Is it a set menu?
Yes. However we do cater for dietary requirements separately. The menu is generally released 3 months prior to the event.

Do I get physical tickets?
No. Staff will have a guest list on the door.

What time does a tribute start?
Doors open at 6.30pm (you can have drinks in our Sports Bar before this), guests are then seated at 7.15pm and the meal is served from 7.30pm. The event finishes at midnight and residents only can go through to our Champagne Bar afterwards.

Can I pre-order drinks for the table?
Yes. We have a selection of wine, beer and cocktails that can be pre-ordered. All pre-ordered drinks are ready and waiting on your table except cocktails which are bought and made for when you arrive. All drinks pre-order must be pre-paid in advance at least 48 hours prior to the event.

Is there a dress code?
We encourage guests to wear smart/casual attire. For a fun themed tribute, we strongly encourage fancy dress!

Can I decorate our table?
Absolutely. You can access the room from 4pm on the day by asking for the Events team at reception. We politely ask that all decorations are tasteful.

Can I bring a cake if we’re celebrating a friend’s birthday?
Yes. Just give it to staff on arrival and it will be delivered to your table after dessert. You will need to sign a food disclaimer when you drop it off.

Can we book our tickets individually and be sat together?
For us to ensure the whole of your party are seated together and not split up, we ask one lead booker is responsible for making the initial booking and making all contracted payments.

How long is the act on stage?
Of course this does vary, however it is usually between 1- 1/12 hours.

When does the act come on stage?
The act normally comes on after food service is complete, which is around 21:15- 21:45pm. Once the act has finished our in-house DJ comes takes to the stage.

How many can be seated to a table?
Our table sizes vary and can seat from 8 up to 12 on a circular table. However, we do take requests for a long table but cannot always guarantee this can be accommodated.

What is the requirement for a private table?
You must book a minimum of 8 people, which would confirm a private table. If your bookings falls below 8, you will be placed onto a shared table for the evening.

Is there table service for drinks?
Unfortunately not, but the bar is open from start to finish (last orders called usually 30 minutes prior).

Can I cancel my booking?
You can, however, all cancellations must be received in writing and any payments made at the point of cancellation are fully non-refundable or transferable against any other services.

Are discounts offered for large group parties?
Unfortunately, the rates are set for our tribute overnight stay package and ticket only costs.
