Old Thorns is Part of a World Record Attempt!!

Josh (@ginger.golf) is undertaking a fantastic challenge to break the world record for the number of 18-hole golf courses played in a single year and we were thrilled to be a part of it! Noticing that he was playing on courses in our local area, we invited Josh down to take on the Old Thorns golf course as part of the amazing attempt.

The current record is 580, and Josh is travelling the country on a quest for 581. (We were on Day 80 and course 125 of the challenge.) To be involved, the course needed to be 18 holes and over 6,000 yards.

Josh is fundraising in memory of his Mum for two charities: Tapping House & Macmillan Cancer Support.
