This year, we invite you to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Old Thorns! Escape to our countryside hotel during December with our Festive Winter packages, or enjoy a fabulous two night Christmas Break from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day, when we’ll take care of it all.
However you choose to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Old Thorns, rest assured you’ll have fun with your loved ones.
New Year's Eve Black Tie Ball
Join us for the Old Thorns New Year’s Eve Black Tie Ball and welcome 2027 in style. Begin your evening with a glass of bubbly & canapes before sitting down to a delicious four-course dinner.
There will be fabulous live entertainment, a late-night disco and fireworks to see the New Year in – a great way to end the year and start the new one!
Please be aware: Bookings for 8 and more guests will be seated on private tables. Bookings for less than 8 guests will be seated on mixed tables.

Celebrate at the New Year’s Eve Black Tie Ball, stay the night in one of our Superior Hotel Rooms or in a 2 Bedroom Residence, then enjoy a great breakfast. The best way to start New Year’s Day!
Extended New year Getaway
Party the night away at the New Year’s Eve Black Tie Ball, then retire to your Superior hotel room or a 2 Bedroom Residence for the night. Wake on New Year’s Day and enjoy a great breakfast before relaxing in and around the resort, taking advantage of the pool, gym and wellness area. Stay overnight and then enjoy another breakfast and check out on January 1st.
Terms & Conditions
This event is for over 18’s only.
To book this package, we require a £150 non-refundable deposit per person at the time of booking. Full non-refundable payment is due no later than Friday 30th November 2026.
There is a single supplement charge of £100 per night for anyone wishing to book to a single room on 31st December and £50 per night for 1st January 2027.
There will be £50 supplement per person if the occupancy is less than 4 or 6 people, depending on the type of apartment booked.
You will be allocated a superior bedroom, but room upgrades are available at an additional charge and subject to availability.
We request that we are made aware of any dietary requirements no later than when the full payment is due. Any requests for special diets made after this date are not guaranteed.
Drinks are not included in the package price. (Excluding welcome drink) and will be an additional charge.
Although we try to keep groups together, there may be another group seated at the same table.
Dress code is strict black tie.
