Bigger is not always better – sometimes a more intimate setting is more appropriate for your delegates. Our dedicated conference rooms are great for formal meetings or the a relaxed setting for appointments with your colleagues and clients. Keep the private and intimate feel whilst still having access to the extensive facilities that Old Thorns offers. These rooms can also be used as breakout spaces for large conferences and exhibitions.
Syndicate rooms
The Syndicate Rooms at Old Thorns are a great option if you're looking for meetings of between 2 - 40 delegates. They can be arranged in a variety of layouts to get maximum use from the space - great for more formal business meetings, training days, or brainstorming and idea generation sessions.

Wentworth
Perfect for a small or medium sized meeting, the Wentworth Suite can be arranged in a variety of formats to make the most of the room for example, you’ll be able to accommodate up to 40 delegates in a theatre style setup. The Wentworth Suite is light and airy with high ceilings providing a great space and includes screen, projector, and white board.

Carnoustie
Similar in size and shape to the Wentworth Suite, the Carnoustie Suite can be used by up to 40 delegates in a theatre style, making it a great option for training. It's also large enough for 24 delegates in a boardroom layout. As with all our small and medium sized meeting spaces, a screen, white board, paper and pens are all provided.

Gleneagles
The Gleneagles Suite is flexible enough to be used for a variety of different meeting types, from training to formal boardroom style gatherings, workshops to informal team chats. Situated in the Conference Area at Old Thorns, refreshments, breakout area and restrooms are close by.

St Andrews
Located adjacent to the Old Thorns driving range, the St Andrews Suite is the largest room in the Conference Centre. Its size allows for even more flexibility than the other meeting rooms and can seat up to 70 delegates in cabaret style, or up to 90 in theatre style.
