These terms and conditions apply to the 2024 Escape & Enjoy prize draw run by Old Thorns Hotel & Resort.

By entering the prize draw competition, entrants agree to the following:

1. Employees, agencies of Old Thorns Hotel & Resort or their family members or anyone else connected to Old Thorns Hotel & Resort may not enter the draw.
2. Old Thorns Hotel & Resort accepts no responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
3. Entrants may enter the competition only onceOld Thorns Hotel & Resort will count one entry per person, multiple entries will be discarded.
4. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
5. Old Thorns Hotel & Resort reserves the right not to accept an entry and all decisions on this, and on the subsequent selection of works for exhibition, will be final and not subject to appeal.

Selecting a winner

1. The prize draw closes at 10.00am on Monday 3 June 2024. Entries after that time will not be considered.
2. Successful entries will be sorted by email address numerically and alphabetically and each entry will be given a number in order. A separate number will be selected at random and that number compared to the list of successful answers. That entry will be deemed the winner.
3. The successful entrant will be contacted by email between Wednesday 5 June 2024 and Wednesday 12 June 2024. The successful entrant will receive a 2 night Escape & Enjoy stay for up to four guests in a 2 bedroom apartment. The stay will include one item from Oties per guest and a ½ hour session on Toptracer Range for up to four guests. Access to the pool and gym during the stay is included and over 18s can also enjoy the Wellness Suite - sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The stay must be taken between 5 June 2024 until 30 November 2024 and is subject to availability. 

Privacy notice

1. Entrant data will be stored in accordance with current data protection legislation.
2. Your data will be stored and used in accordance with Old Thorns Hotel & Resort privacy policy to administer the competition. This can be reviewed here - https://www.oldthorns.com/privacy-policy
3. Your data will be processed (used) to identify you, and your entry, when necessary
4. We will keep your data for a period of five years after your last engagement with us, after which it will be deleted or anonymised.
5. By including your email address within the prize draw form you are providing your explicit consent for your data to be processed by Old Thorns Hotel & Resort to administer the competition.
6. We offer the following rights to you in respect of your personal data:

• You can request access to, or copies of, the personal data that we hold of you. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us using the contact details given below;
• If you believe that any information we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us using any of the contact details given below as soon as possible. We will take steps to seek to correct or update any information if we are satisfied that the information we hold is inaccurate;
• You can object to how we process your personal data;
• You can request that your personal data be deleted, where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it is being processed and provided there is no other lawful basis for which we may continue to process such information;
• You can withdraw any consent given to processing (this will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal); or
• You can request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances when required by law.
• You can request the transfer of your data to another party.
• You can lodge a complaint, we will try to resolve any concerns you may have. However, if you consider that we are in breach of our obligations under data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence or place of work. In the U.K., you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (https://ico.org.uk/global/contact-us/).

• Details of the competition are correct as at date of publication.
• When entering the competition you have the option to sign up to receive updates from Old Thorns Hotel & Resort. This will have no bearing on your entry – all correct entries will be treated the same way.
• By adding your email address to the 2024 Escape & Enjoy prize draw, you accept these terms and conditions, which are the rules of the competition.
