Our ability to organise golf days was confirmed when in 2009, Old Thorns was chosen to host the Disabled British Open, providing a memorable day for more than 100 golfers and 250 for the gala dinner.
It was further confirmed in 2011, when Old Thorns was chosen to host the William Hunt Trilby Tour, which was shown on Sky Sports on August 8, 2011.
The golf team is trained to look after every detail of your event, leaving you to look after your guests.

Tournament Management Service- from £1,000
Old Thorns can take all the stress out of your corporate or society day via our tournament management service, which includes:
- A member of Old Thorns staff all day
- Manned registration and welcome desk
- Preparation of scorecards
- Scoring of event & publication of results
- Set up of prize giving tables
- Halfway house (excluding cost of food and drink)
- Starter on the tee(s)
