Over nine hundred visitors came to view the fifty five exhibitors displaying the latest wedding fashions, services and products.

The event is quickly becoming the leading wedding show in the area, introduced some new features which where an instant hit.

The Bridal pamper suite:  Demonstrating makeovers treatments and beauty products to the visitors along with great special offers.

The Bridal Boutique:  Giving the opportunity for the brides to try on dresses, hats, tiaras and handbags from the various bridal-fashion houses present.

The man crèche:  For the boys the hotel created an oasis in the sports bar.  In the bar the men could watch sky sports and relax.

Overall the event was a resounding success smashing the attendance of the last show with many couples booking their weddings on thespot for this year and next.

Wednesday 28th September 2011 from 10:00 – 13:00 in the Atrium Champagne Bar.

Put a smile on your mug! Get together with friends, family or colleagues on Wednesday 28th September and raise money for people living with cancer as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Bringing the community together to support the Macmillan Cancer Support’s biggest events of the year, has been the aim of Old Thorns Manor Hotel.  With this in mind, AMK Group from Liphook, one of the largest passenger transport operators in the UK, have joined with Macmillan Cancer Support and Old Thorns to offer a FREE half hourly service between 9:45 am until 1.30 pm from the bus stop outside The Royal Anchor to Old Thorns and back again in support of the event.

More than your average coffee morning…

Expect to find a few ‘extras’ as well – for ladies who love handbags – check out ItsMyBagOnline.co.uk who will be on hand to show off the latest designer bags and donate to the Macmillan fund.  Phoenix cards will also be here doing their bit and Micah from Mrs Bouquet will have fabulous floral arrangements
